THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE 2017

Hello from beautiful Paris!

I can't believe we are only a week away from Christmas, OMG! I feel like this year has passed so quickly and I still have so many things on my TO DO LIST for 2017. So if you’re anything like me, you probably leave all your Christmas shopping for the very last minute. But don’t panic, I got you covered! I’ve prepared a guide with different gift ideas for every budget.

Daniel Wellington Watch – If you don’t know this brand by now you should definitely check yourself, there’s a high chance you’ve been living under a rock and you don’t even know it! Thanks to their modern and minimalist design, any watch from this brand would make a perfect present, whether is your father or your millennial sister, you’ll score some good points with this one. The model in the picture is the Classic Petite Bondi

Aspinal Card Holder - This is a great gift for both men and women, its elegant and timeless design makes it perfect for almost anyone. As one of the top luxury British brands, you simply can’t go wrong with something from Aspinal. Plus you'll be making someone a huge favour with this gift as it saves so much space compared to traditional wallets, I actually stopped using them since I discovered card holders.

Bioderma Travel Set - Any frequent traveler (like me) will appreciate this gift, it makes packing so much easier when you don’t have to worry about your facial and body care essential products, especially when you know they are from a brand you trust like Bioderma. This pack contains the basics to keep your skin fresh and hydrated during your trip, including the Atoderm Shower Gel and Hand Cream, Hydrabio Facial Cream and my favourite, their famous Sensibio H2O Micellar Water. It's exclusively available at Escentual with full size products for only £20.

Anne Semonin The Red Carpet Ritual - The luxury skincare brand has launched a variety of Gift Coffrets this Christmas including this one featuring a special combo for glowing skin. In party season, more than ever, we want to look at our best with radiant, glowing skin. The Precious Serum helps to revitalize and detoxify the skin overnight, while the Eye Express Radiance Cubes refresh, lift and brighten tired eyes in a flash. Pretty much everything you need to look flawless and boast of radiant complexion and glow! The set is worth £143 but is now for sale at £99.

L'Occitane Stocking Fillers - When it comes to stocking fillers, L'Occitane have the most amazing sets featuring miniatures of some of their best selling products. I have loved this brand for so many years, and seeing what they have created this Christmas makes me want to have them all. I think they are a great gift option because since they are small you can use them for travels but also it allows you to try an entire collection for a very small price. Perfect for stockings and secret Santas.

LanaiBlo Hairdryer - I’m so impressed with this hairdryer that it was on my list before there was even a list (if that makes any sense). Thumbs up for the design, colour and most importantly, the fact that it’s personalised with my name. But what I’m really impressed about is how powerful it is and how quick it dries my hair and how shiny it looks when I finish. I’ve used other brands that are probably more known in the market, but I always end up being disappointed with the results. So if you want to make a girls’ life easier this is definitely a great option.

Glossie Ceramic Styling Brush - To continue in the hair line, we have this fantastic hairbrush from InStyler. When I first got this product I didn't really know what to expect, I thought "it's just a brush", well, it isn't. It turned out it's the ultimate weapon against frizz. After a single pass my hair looks shiny, straight and smooth. The fact that it is actually a brush makes my life much easier because I don't have to use both a styler and a brush to achieve the perfect sleek look.

Hieleven Mini Bucket Bag - Bucket bags have been in trend for quite a while and I think is safe to say they're here to stay. When it comes to style (my own and even my home) I love clean lines and simple cuts, I believe that less is more and that you can look flawless with something as simple as a good pair of jeans and a white t-shirt as long as you pair them with the right accessories. The bags from Hieleven are the perfect complement to add that touch of chic minimalism to any outfit.

Louis Vuitton Scarf - On the more pricy side of the list we have this LV scarf. I know one of the most hated Christmas gifts are scarfs, but trust me, it is not the case when is from Louis Vuitton. I bought it a few weeks ago and I’m absolutely loving it (if anyone feels like making me a gift I wouldn’t mind another one of this); it is incredibly soft and warm, and it looks so elegant! This is the type of statement piece you need to add that touch of glam to your outfits.

Megan Hess Paris Through a Fashion Eye - Any woman who is into fashion will love this book (or any of Megan’s books in fairness). I’ve been following the work of the world famous Australian fashion illustrator for years since the day I found her first book while browsing around Munich airport back in 2013. Back then she wasn’t nearly as popular as she is today, but I immediately fell in love with her work, and 5 years later I have all her books and many of her illustrations all decorating the walls of my house. I don’t think there’s any other illustrator out there (apart from her sister Kerrie) who can capture fashion in such a glamorous and unique way. -Photo credit Megan Hess as I forgot to take a picture of my own book with the rush of my trip to Paris.

Happy shopping and Happy Holidays!

That means you picked great gifts! Haha. I am dying for that LV scarf and would love to gift someone the DW watch since it is such a classic timepiece. Bioderma is great for beauty lovers and affordable too. Also love that color and size of that mini bucket bag. Such great recommendations. Happy shopping! xoxo, Christine

  7. You've really included some amazing items! I always love the classic and affordable look of the DW watch! I've yet to try the glossy brush so it's nice to hear your review on it! Locctaine seems to be on everyones list this year! I don't think most people would be upset at getting that lux LV scarf. I hardly wear scarfs though... I don't know why? I'm really excited to read that book! Looks like such a great one! I haven't heard of it before! Thanks for recommending! I've got some gift cards I need to use!
