After the amazing snow we had in London last Sunday, I can officially say Christmas is in full swing [insert Jingle Bells Rock here]! As the year comes to an end and we start getting ready for the celebrations, I’ve prepared a list of my favourite beauty products from 2017. A very diverse range including some of my all-time favourite brands and many others I haven’t tried before, this year has been “the year” in terms of discovering beauty products. So get comfy, grab a cup of tea (or coffee, or wine, or whisky, whatever makes you happy) and enjoy!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm - I’ve been using the full range of Pro-Collagen products on my everyday beauty routine (day and night) for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Although I’ve been taking good care of my skin for years, over the last couple of years I’ve noticed a change in my skin, it is dryer and has also lost a lot of elasticity (it might have something to do with the fact that I’m way over 30), which means I have to constantly adapt to my skin changes. This line is great for that, it helps with the generation of collagen while keeping the skin hydrated without feeling sticky. But if I had to pick one product from the entire line, it would definitely be the cleansing balm. I've never tried a product like this before, I didn’t even knew there was such thing as a “cleansing balm”, but it has been a complete game changer on my beauty routine. I look forward to get home just to take off my makeup while indulging myself with this luxurious balm, it smells so good I literally feel like I'm at the spa.

YSL Supreme Bouquet – Do you ever feel like certain smells evoke memories from your childhood or happy moments of your life? I remember my father used to wear (and still does) the same Jean Nate cologne every single day, and that smell brings back very fond memories from my childhood. For years I’ve been searching for “my signature fragrance”, something to be identified with that suits my personality and can be worn day and night. After trying many perfumes I can say I finally found it. This has to be by far the best perfume I’ve owned in my entire life; it’s heady but very soft flower essence makes it very easy to wear in any occasion, and since it’s made of very pure essential oils, it lasts longer than any other perfume I’ve ever tried (I can literally wash my clothes and you can still sense the smell). It is a bit expensive (£195), but worth every penny!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector – I discovered this product while looking for a similar one from another brand, but I couldn’t be happier with my choice. This shimmery primer leaves a very soft glow on your skin and it’s perfect to achieve that dewy effect I’m so obsessed with these days. I can predict I’ll be wearing this a lot in summer with bare skin for that glowy sun kissed effect.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder – One of my biggest struggles when it comes to makeup is the dark circles under my eyes, no matter what concealer I wear (and I’ve tried a many of them) my eyes still look tired (maybe you’re just tired, Massiel). But this brightening powder does the trick like nothing else. It is like one of those snapchat filters that make you look like you have very bright, sparkly eyes; but in real life.

Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops -  This brand was completely unknown for me until recently, I think I probably saw a beauty blogger using it once but didn’t pay much attention to it until I randomly bumped into it while looking for the Becca primer. Ever since I started using this I’ve pretty much ditched all my highlighters, I personally don’t think it can get more glowy than this, I actually feel like Edward Cullen in that scene from Twilight when the sun is shining down on him. This is a great example of "a little goes a long way" because you just need a tiny amount to achieve that perfect glow.

DKNY Nectar Love – This perfume has been a great find as well because is the type of perfume you can perfectly wear night and day all year long, it’s very soft but has a very but also a very elegant fragrance.

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation - I've been using the Power Fabric for the past year, and even though I absolutely love it and It's probably my favorite foundation, since I've been trying to achieve a more dewy look, I needed something lighter to help me get it. If you're looking for something with less coverage to use during the day this is perfect, it is long lasting (but not as much as the Power Fabric) and it gives a very natural silky look to your skin. I love mixing it with the Cover FX drops for that extra glow!

Let me know if you've tried any of these products!
