HOW TO WEAR A BLAZER WITH SHORTS

New Monday, new week, new goals!

I always get amazed about what sunshine and warm weather can do to your mood. It never crossed my mind when I was living in Madrid where it's sunny most of the time, but since I move to London and warm sunny days became a luxury, I noticed that I'm generally happier when the days are longer and I feel much more creative.

Yesterday I was going out for lunch and felt like I wanted to try something different to wear my shorts, instead of just putting on a t-shirt and some flipflops; and that's how I how I decided to give this outfit a try - I have to say it has taken me some time to get into the long boyfriend jacket trend, but the other day I felt very adventurous and totally went for it.

A blazer and shorts combo it's a must for summer and depending on the shoes and the type of accessories you wear, it can be more or less casual. I went for a pair of floral embroidered slippers I got from L'intervalle paired with my new Givenchy Antigona (at last!), a basic sleeveless top and my new pair of cateye sunglasses from Kapten & Son. Overall, I am very happy with the result and even considering to buy a few more blazers.

Nuevo lunes, nueva semana, nuevos objetivos!

Siempre me sorprende lo que sol y un clima cálido pueden hacer por tu estado de ánimo. Nunca cruzó por la mente cuando vivía en Madrid donde hace sol la mayor parte del tiempo, pero desde que vivo en Londres y los días cálidos y soleados se convirtieron en un lujo, me di cuenta de que en general estoy más feliz cuando los días son más largos y me siento mucho más creativa.

Ayer iba a salir a almorzar y sentía como si quisiera probar algo distinto para llevar mis pantalones cortos, en lugar de simplemente ponerme una camiseta y unas chanclas; y así es como decidí dar una oportunidad a este look - Tengo que admitir me ha tomado algo tiempo adaptarme a la tendencia de chaquetas boyfriend, pero el otro día me sentí bastante aventurero y fui a por todas con ella.

Un blazer y shorts es un combo imprescindible para el verano y dependiendo de los zapatos y el tipo de accesorios que lleves, puede ser más o menos casual. Yo me decidí por unas slippers bordadas en estampado floral de L'intervalle junto con mi nuevo Givenchy Antigona (¡por fin!), Una camiseta básica de tirantes y mi nuevo par de gafas de cateye de Kapten & Son. En general, estoy muy contenta con el resultado e incluso pensando en comprar unos cuantos blazers más .
