If I was astonished when I first saw Venice, the moment I touched ground in Burano it completely blew me away. It's difficult to conceive how such a small place can hold so much beauty. The mesmerizing colors of every single house, the beautifully decorated windows and the gorgeous flowers everywhere. It's like one of those places that seem to be taken out of a movie.
The island is quite small and there's not much to do apart from wandering around and probably have something to eat, which means in a few hours you'll be done and ready to go, but is definitely worth the trip from Venice. If you're a foodie and are looking for a gastronomic experience, there's a Michelin rated restaurant in the island called Al Gatto Nero Da Ruggero, but it gets very busy so make sure you book in advance.
For that day I was planning to wear a very summery outfit, just with my yellow dress and sandals, but the the sun didn't feel like coming out that day so I had to make an addition, the leather jacket. At the beginning I thought I looked very weird and wasn't very sure about the outfit, but now, looking at the pictures I think the result was pretty cool.
