Today I want to talk you about my newest obsession, Melissa shoes… The sophisticated and eco-friendly Brazilian brand, Melissa, which has been dressing our feet for the last 30 years, whilst remaining chic and modern.
To be
honest, when I hear shoes and “very comfortable” on the same sentence the first
thing that comes to my mind is UGLY. And yes, I know it sounds a bit extreme, but
the truth is that it is really hard to find a pair shoes that you can use for a
whole day to walk around the city and still feel comfy and look stylish with
them. So as you can imagine, when I got my first pair of Melissa shoes the expectation was huge; and knowing that famous
stars like Anne Hathaway, Kate Moss and
Katy Perry are fans of these shoes, and that designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, John Paul
Gaultier or Jason Wu are just a few of the world's leading designers who
have invested their energies to create fashion shoes for Melissa, caught my attention even more.
But
why so much noise around these shoes? The answer is simple; they are chic, have
amazing colors and a unique design which does not look alike to anything out there;
plus they are 100% recyclable thanks to the patented PVC material (Melflex)
they are made of. Definitely a must-have for any girl.
From
the first moment I got my hands on my Melissa’s
I couldn’t wait to try them on and figure all types of outfits to match
them with. I had some new stuff that I was anxious to wear, like the denim
jacket, the baby blue oversized sweater and the metallic clutch; and as this particular
model (Campana Papel IV) is very easy to wear and in color Grey it goes pretty
much with everything, the outfit selection became really simple for me. I love
the harmony between baby blue, white and silver, it is so delicate and sweet,
and with the right accessories, über chic. I guess I must be the biggest fan of
this “pastels” trend, and as I love white pants and denim, if it was up to me I
wouldn’t wear anything else. Dear to mix and match with metallic accessories
and you achieve the perfect look.
