LOVE PINK

Hello Everyone! It’s been a while since my last post, but I am back and ready to rumble! In this post I wanted to show you how to wear my favorite color (pink) without looking like Reese Witherspoon on “Legally Blond” or feeling like your catching everyone’s attention for the wrong reason.

The first thing you need to do is determine the shade of pink that suits you better. If you have olive skin and dark or brown hair, hot pink will look best on you. If you have a fair complexion and fair hair, pale and pastel pinks will suit you. If you are neither fair nor dark, most shades of pink will work for you. In my case I feel more comfortable in pastels than with bright colors. If you’re not sure about the color you can check my post “What Colors Look Good on Me?”.

The next thing is to choose the pink item you want to wear (I chose the pants, mine are from Bershka) and pick out contrasting pieces of clothing to wear with it. This time my choices where a white shirt with floral pattern (from Primark) and a nude faux fur coat (vintage, it used to be my mom’s). I wore my hair down because as it is so dark it makes a nice contrast with pink and my skin color.

To accessorize I wanted to keep it simple and in the same line of colors; so I went for a white gold necklace chain with a small cross of diamonds and pink sapphires, my old Tory Burch flats, my beloved pink Hermès Constance crossbody bag. Finally, I took a little risk and added a touch of hot pink with my Hublot watch and a ring from H&M. Oh, and I almost forgot, the bangle (that you’ve probably seen on me before) it’s older than me, it must be around 35 years old (not that I’m even close to that), it’s a handmade piece of solid gold that my granny bought on a trip to Mexico and now is mine (like many other things) and I love it!

Hope you like it and share with me your pink outfits.

Love,

Massiel
