NEW HAIR, NEW ME?

While I write this post I’m on a plane en route to New York to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. I’m only going to stay there for a few days this time, and even though I was with them just a few weeks ago, I’m ecstatic by the idea of spending my birthday surrounded by my loved ones.

Last year was a great learning experience in all aspects of my life (a lot of soul searching and self discovery), and I feel deeply grateful and blessed for every single one of them. Thanks to that, I’m in the best place I’ve ever been - I prayed for clarity and that’s what I received. I feel very happy with who I am and have a very clear vision of the direction I want my life to take. It has taken me a long time to get here and it’s been a gradual process, but oh, what a feeling!

I don’t know if you remember about 6 months ago when I decided to cut my hair after growing it for years, but it was a life changing experience for me. They say that a woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life, and let me tell you something, it is so true. It’s amazing what something as simple as a haircut can do for your confidence. In my case, it was something that made me feel empowered, more confident about myself, like the world was literally my oyster; and that my friends, is a feeling I never wanna run out of.

After I came back from California my hair was in very bad condition, especially after all the sun and driving a convertible around the desert (it was really bad). I didn't want to lose my mojo so as soon as I landed I put myself in hands of the best hair team in London at Richard Ward Salon in Chelsea for a complete hair revival. I got a fresh haircut, color and treatment with products from Richard Ward's hair line which I've been using since then (I find it pretty amazing) and my hair feels soft as silk which paired the Tangle Angel hairbrush is pure awesomeness!

The whole experience at the Salon was exceptional, everyone is so professional and the service is impeccable, exactly what you would expect of an award-winning Royal and celebrity hairdresser. I honestly couldn't be any happier.

So going back to the initial topic, when you feel good in your own skin (and the same principle applies to hair) your approach to life is completely different. So if you've been thinking about it for a while and you're craving a change, just go for it! Chances are that you'll end up loving it!

So, can a haircut change your life? It totally can!

  3. Your hair looks amazing! And I totally agree - every time I needed a change in my life it started with my hair. I chopped my super long hair to a pixie cut at about 30 - and I've kept it on the shorter side ever since. Tell me more about that hairbrush thou!
