5 DAYS IN NEW YORK WITH TBP

New York is one of my favourite cities in the world. Every time I go, I discover new things to do, places to eat and areas to visit. It has a very unique vibe unlike any other city in the world; no wonder why I'm going more and more often.

This time around I got to spend a fabulous time with my tribe with the most dreamy itinerary created by TBP. Here's what we got up to!

Day 1
After a very pleasant flight with United, we arrived in our hotel, the W Hoboken, and to my surprise when I got to my room, it had the most stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. I dropped my suitcases and quickly made myself at home and took a seat next to the window to admire the landscape. I could have stayed for hours just looking out the window, I've honestly never seen anything like it before.

Since we had the night free, even though we were exhausted from the trip, Deniz and I decided to make our way to Manhattan to get some dinner and go for a stroll. It was a very warm and sticky night, but we couldn't have been more excited to be in the big city. We ended up in La Contenta, a very good mexican restaurant in the Lower East Side, and of course we ordered way much more than we could possibly eat. After dinner we want for a walk and ended up somewhere in Soho shopping at CBS. Yes, that's right, the thing is that one of my favourite things to do when I'm in the US is going to pharmacies like CBS and Walgreens to buy all sort of things I can't get in Europe. I know, sad.

Day 2
The next morning I woke up fresh and ready for the day ahead. Weirdly there were no signs of jetlag - I guess it had something to do with the amazing sleep I had at the best hotel bed ever. But seriously, I have sleeping issues and generally, no matter how tired I am and how great the hotel is, I just can't sleep for the first 1 or 2 nights, but this time it felt like sleeping in my own bed (or even better), which for someone like me is incredibly important.

The breakfast at the W Hoboken was out of this world, I'm still dreaming about those eggs benedict.

We headed to Manhattan on the PATH (which to my surprise was incredibly quick and super convenient to get to Manhattan from New Jersey) and made it to the Artis Apartment for a Makeup & Skincare Masterclass. We learnt how to use the Artis Palm Brush to apply both makeup and skincare and I even got a touch-up of my makeup. Their brushes are insane, the have the most soft and luxurious feeling and haven't stopped using them since I came back to London.

We all had lunch at By Chloe and after that, since we had a free afternoon to do whatever we wanted, went to do what bloggers do, explore the city and take a lot of pictures along the way! From The Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall we walked up and down the streets of Manhattan until it was time to meet again with the squad for dinner at Cleo Restaurant. The food was incredible and the views from the rooftop at the Mondarian Park Avenue were we had drinks before dinner were amazing!

We had a lovely night and we got time to catch up and as some of us haven't seen each other sin our trip to Croatia.

Day 3
Day 3 began at the Top of the Rock, one of the many activities you can do with the NYCgo pass. I must say, no matter how many times I go there, I never get tired of the view, it's breathtaking the magnitude if this city. We enjoyed the views and took some awesome shots and then a few of us when on different exploring routes.

We went to Dumbo, crossed the Brooklyn Bridge and made our way to the West Village -my favourite neighbourhood in NYC- in the hunt of the most instagrammable house this autumn (we found it and it did not disappoint). This was probably the most fun I've had in a long time.

After all the walking we were starving, so we were extremely excited for our dinner at Mr. Purple, one of the hottest spots in NYC with the most insane views to the city. We ate, we sang and danced the night out. It was a great night!

Day 4
One of my absolute favourite things to do is going for brunch, I could literally have brunch all day everyday if calories weren't an issue. If like me, you're a brunch lover, you need to take note of this place, Magic Hour Rooftop, which serves one of the best brunches in the city. I have never see pancakes like the ones they serve in my life, and OMG, sooooo good!! I probably ate enough for the next 3 days and it was so worth it!

After brunch we decided to go for a walk around the Highline, a very unique park of 1.45-mile-long which used to be a rail trail, and ended up in Chelsea Market having some Japanese tacos (as weird as it sounds they were actually very good).

Day 5
For hour last day in the city we had lunch at the one of the best Italian restaurants I've been in a long time, Olio e Piu. Located in the heart of The West Village and inspired by the warmth and comfort of the Tuscan countryside, it serves authentic Italian cuisine to please the most discerning palates. It is so beautifully decorated that's impossible to go unnoticed, I've actually passed by a few times in the past without knowing it was a restaurant and thought what a beautiful place that was.

It was the perfect way to end this unforgettable trip.

Huge thanks to W Hoboken for having us and for taking care of us so well during our stay. I've never come across to a more thoughtful and welcoming staff, it truly felt like a home away from home.

Also thanks to Figleaves and Maria Nila for always spoiling on our TBP trips.

Thank you to TBP for the most fabulous days in NYC – a truly unforgettable experience! And a big shout out to Laurie and Becca for organizing this for us, you girls smashed it!
