AFTERNOON TEA AT THE BERMONDSEY SQUARE HOTEL

One of my favourite things to do since I moved to London is going for afternoon tea with my friends. I guess it’s just one of those very British things to do that have grown on me and I actually enjoy doing, so I’m always in the hunt for new places to go.

I was already a big fan of tea and cakes (and food in general), but when I discovered how it’s done in the UK, it was a complete game changer for me and now I’m not just  interested in tea and biscuits, but more into the overall experience and of course the best menus.

I recently went with Deniz to try the afternoon tea at The Bermondsey Square Hotel and it went beyond all expectations, was absolutely amazing! The food was so delicious and abundant that we were actually sad we couldn’t eat everything. We had the best time catching up on while trying to figure out which one was tastier, the velvet cake or the chocolate one (still can't decide).

Overall I'd say it's a great value for money and would recommend it to anyone (tourist or local) who wants to experience an authentic traditional afternoon English tea. Already looking forward to the next time!

  1. I absolutely love afternoon tea myself. Something about the little finger sandwiches and the desserts and the warm cup of tea. What a lovely time it is. This place looks so cozy amongst the books and I love the warm setting. Looks like it was an incredible time especially during the cold. xoxo, Christine

  14. If you have a good health food store nearby, then you may not need to buy green tea online. On the other hand, sometimes it can be beneficial to search online Tea Shop when you're looking to buy tea
