It's been over 10 years since my first visit to Bath and for a long time I've been wanting to go back and visit the place I have so many of. So yesterday I got up very early and headed to Bath. It was a typical English summer day, around 23 degrees and a bit cloudy.
After a 2 hour drive from London, we made it to Bath. Everything looked exactly as I remembered it, less cold, but pretty much the same. Bath is the type of city that has a magic charm; beautiful in the sun and very romantic when cold and gloomy.
I had no time to waste and went straight to my favorite spots and had a wand around the Bath Abbey, The Royal Crescent, The Circle and Pulteney Bridge. Then I had lunch at a very good pizza restaurant called Dough, and what a great surprise! I've never come across a restaurant with such a wide variety of doughs or pizza, going from the traditional to gluten free hemp and and even turmeric. The food was delicious and definitely a must try when in Bath.
Since I wasn't staying the night I couldn't visit The Roman Baths, but now that I know it's so easy to get there, I'll be definitely going back soon.
I was wearing one of the hottest trends of the season, the long kimono (now on sale), and I have to say, it is so comfortable and easy to wear that I could literally use it every day for the rest of the summer - I couldn't have put less effort on my outfit yesterday and still loved the result so much.

Han pasado más de 10 años desde mi primera visita a Bath y durante mucho tiempo he estado deseando volver y visitar el lugar del cual tengo tantos bonitos recuerdos. Así que ayer me levanté muy temprano y puse rumbo a Bath. Hacía un típico día de verano Inglés, alrededor de 23 grados y un poco nublado.
Después de 2 horas en coche desde Londres, llegamos a Bath. Todo estaba exactamente como lo recordaba, menos frío, pero prácticamente igual. Bath es el tipo de ciudad que tiene un encanto mágico; hermosa cuando está soleado y muy romántica cuando está frío y nublado.
No tenía tiempo que perder así que fui directamente a mis lugares favoritos, un paseo alrededor de la Abadía de Bath, el Royal Crescent, el Círculo y Pulteney Bridge. Luego paré para comer en una pizzería que encontré por casualidad llamada Dough, ¡y qué gran sorpresa! Nunca había estado en un restaurante con tal variedad de masas para pizza, desde la tradicional a las de cáñamo sin gluten o incluso de cúrcuma. La comida estuvo deliciosa y sin duda tenéis que probarlo cuando estéis en Bath.
Ya que no me iba a quedar a dormir no pude visitar los baños romanos, pero ahora que sé que es tan fácil de llegar, sin duda volvere pronto.
Llevaba una de las tendencias más hot de la temporada, el kimono largo (ahora en rebajas), y tengo que decir, es tan cómodo y fácil de llevar que podría literalmente ponermelo todos los días durante el resto del verano - No podría haber puesto menos esfuerzo en mi outfit ayer y aun así amar tanto el resultado.
